Choose your treats with clearer information.

Dietary tags can make browsing easier, but they never replace the ingredient and allergen information for the exact product you buy. This guide explains how to read our labels, what the 14 regulated allergens are, and what to consider when ordering pick & mix.

DIETARY BROWSING LABELS

What our product tags mean — and what they do not mean.

We only use dietary wording where it is supported by current product or manufacturer information. The latest label on the product you receive remains the final point of reference.

Vegan-labelled

The available manufacturer or product information identifies the item as vegan. Always recheck the pack for recipe changes and cross-contact statements.

Vegan does not mean allergen-free.

Vegetarian-labelled

The current product information identifies the item as suitable for vegetarians. It may still contain allergens such as milk, egg, nuts or soya.

Review ingredients before consumption.

Gelatin-free

No gelatin is listed in the current ingredients supplied for that product. This does not automatically mean vegan, halal, kosher or free from allergens.

Check each dietary claim separately.

Gluten-free-labelled

We use this wording only when the product is specifically described or labelled as gluten-free. A recipe without obvious wheat is not enough on its own.

Precautionary statements still matter.

Certification-based claims

Halal, kosher or similar certification should only be relied on where a current recognised mark or manufacturer statement is available for that exact product.

No certification shown means none should be assumed.

Sugar-free / no added sugar

These phrases have specific meanings and may still involve sweeteners or naturally occurring sugars. Always read the full ingredients and nutrition information.

Some sweeteners can have advisory statements.
IMPORTANT PICK & MIX NOTICE

Loose sweets may come into contact with other products.

Unless an individual product page clearly says otherwise, treat Tazty Candy pick & mix as handled in a shared environment. Containers, scoops, packing surfaces and nearby sweets may create cross-contact risks.

Severe allergy?Do not rely only on colour, appearance or a dietary filter. Contact us before ordering and consider sealed manufacturer packaging where appropriate.
Recipes can changeImported products and manufacturer recipes can change. Always check the physical label before eating or sharing.

READING A PRODUCT PAGE

Three things to check before adding to your basket.

We aim to make product information easy to find, but imported sweets and snacks can change recipe, language layout or packaging. Use the product page to browse, then check the pack you receive before eating.

Browse products
  1. 01
    Ingredients

Read the complete ingredient list for the exact flavour and size you are considering.

  2. 02
    Allergen emphasis

Look for allergens highlighted within the ingredients and any separate advisory wording.

  3. 03
    “May contain” statements

These can be especially important for customers managing allergies or cross-contact risks.

BEFORE YOU ORDER

A simple three-check routine.

If food allergies or dietary requirements matter to your purchase, make these checks part of every order.

01

Open the exact product page

Check flavour, size, ingredients, allergens, dietary notes and any precautionary statement.

03

Recheck when it arrives

Read the physical manufacturer label before opening, eating or sharing the product.

NEED PRODUCT INFORMATION?

Ask before you order.

Tell us the exact product, flavour and size you are considering. We can help you locate the available product information, but we cannot provide medical advice or guarantee an item is safe for a specific allergy.
